Meet Alexis
Alexis has spent her life on stage. From her arts focus in school to her performing arts career, she’s often fancied herself a ‘triple threat…without the rhythm.’ Her focus in drama and music led her to musical theatre productions and classical vocal training.
Ultimately she settled on her true love - comedy - and earned a diploma in Comedy Writing and Performance from Humber College. She since relayed those talents into a lengthy career in film and television production, from working on some of the most popular kids and teens shows in the world, to years serving as a full-time producer of corporate and commercial video content.
Alexis has extensive experience working with corporate clients of all sizes and industries, and understands the pain points that a lack of presentation skills can create. She’s excited to bring her talents to your company!
About Orchard Presents
Orchard Presents was founded in 2024 to address a serious gap in the market. While some circles are aware of the importance of presentation skills, it’s mostly relegated to the world of sales and business development. Of course the sales team needs to talk to people, but why would anybody else?
I truly believe that that’s the wrong approach. The truth is that your entire team could benefit from enhanced presentation skills - from the people who answer the phone to the developers and technicians to the marketing team on down. Orchard Presents brings a unique blend of theatre exercises, vocal techniques, breathing, improvisation, visualization, and other tools to the table. The goal is to help presenters build a toolkit that they can rely on - one which helps them be comfortable in their space, to work through their fear, and to connect and engage with an audience that’s hungry to learn more.
